4.How to Register
a) Nichigan Members who have pre-registered
It is not necessary to re-register on site. Please bring with you to the conference the conference badge which was sent to you beforehand. You may pick up a name badge holder at the Registration Desk in the Lobby Gallery, Glass Building B1. Please also bring this abstract book with you. If you would like another abstract book, they are available for purchase at the conference for 3,000 yen.
b) Nichigan Members who will register on-site
On-site registration is available at the Registration Desk located in the Lobby Gallery, Glass Building B1. Please complete the registration form in your abstract book and bring it to the Registration Desk. Extra forms can be found at the Registration Desk.
c) International Members
A confirmation letter was sent by e-mail to persons who completed the registration for international membership prior to arriving at the conference. At the meeting, please bring the confirmation letter to the Registration Desk for Overseas Participants to receive a conference badge, an abstract book and a name badge holder.

  * Registration fee for non-members includes an abstract book.
  * Medical interns/residents, graduate students, orthoptists and students need to show a proof of status from their supervisor upon registration.
  * Orthoptists who are independent need to show proof of status from the president of the Japanese Association of Certified Orthoptists.


5.Conference Badges
Conference badges MUST be worn by registrants to gain admission to all sessions and programs.


6.Conference Bag
Please exchange the conference bag ticket at the Registration Desk in Glass Building B1 for a conference bag. Inside the conference bag you will find meeting materials, stationary and a name badge holder.


7.Ribbons
All speakers, chairpersons and organizers must wear ribbons which you will receive at the Chairperson/ Speakers Desk.

Fee: Free. The Secretariat of 116th JOS will cover the charge during the above open hours, except for the actual costs of items such as diapers, etc.

13.Car Park
No parking lot is provided for the 116th JOS. We encourage you to use public transportation. If you come by car, you may utilize the toll car park at the Tokyo International Forum.


14.Tickets for Luncheon Seminars
Tickets for luncheon seminars will be distributed until 11:00 AM each day at the Luncheon Seminar Ticket Desk, Glass Building B1. One ticket is available per person per day and the total number of tickets will be limited. Those with tickets may preferentially enter the seminar rooms, however, an arrival later than 5 min will deem the ticket invalid and will not guarantee a seat. Tickets are not required for morning, evening and farewell seminars.


15.Photography and Recording
Photographing, filming and recording during the meeting is strictly prohibited due to copyright protection, except for official press and those who have received permission from the president of the 116th JOS in advance. Due to operational matters, it is also prohibited to take photographs, film and/or record during your own presentation. Photographs of speakers in front of their posters at Exhibition Hall is allowed. Inside the halls and meeting rooms, please keep mobile phones in silent mode. Telephone calls during seminars are prohibited.
