Presentation Guidelines

1. Chairs

  1. Oral presentation chairs, please be at your seats in front of the venue hall 10 min. before the start of your assigned session. Poster session chairs, please arrive at the poster desk (conference center 3F lobby) 10 min. prior to your session.
  2. Please make sure your session stays within the allotted time.

2. Oral Presentations

Presentation Format
a.All oral presentation materials should be digital. OHP slides and video tapes may not be used.
b.There is no limit to the number of presentation slides, but please make sure that your presentation finishes on time.
c. If you created your presentation using Windows, please save it using a USB drive or bring your own computer.
d. If you are using Mac, please bring your own computer.
e.Please submit your presentation and test it at the PC Center at least 30 min. before the start of your session. If using your own computer, please note that after testing your presentation, your computer will be stored at the computer operation desk located on the left side of the lecture hall.

g.Presentation Files
*For those bringing their presentation on a USB drive (Windows only).
i)The PC to be used at the conference must be equipped with Windows 7 OS (MS Office applications PowerPoint 2003, 2007, 2010, 2013).
ii)Please use standard OS fonts only.
E.g. Times New Roman, Arial, Arial Black, Arial Narrow, Century, Century Gothic, Courier,Courier New, Georgia
iii)Animation and video can be used, however, please use a file that can be played back Windows 7's Windows Media Player 11 with default codecs. We recommend using the file format WMV.
iv)Audio playback is available.
v)Please limit file size to 700 MB, including video.
vi)The screen resolution is XGA (1024×768), aspect ratio 4:3.
vii)Please check your device for viruses using updated security software.
viii)Your presentation file will be stored in a computer at the computer center and will be deleted by the secretariat after the conference.
*For those bringing their own computer (Windows or Mac)
i)A Mini D-sub 15 pin cable will be used to connect the computer to the projector. Please note that certain computers may require a proprietary connector. If that is the case, please bring your own connector.
ii)Audio and video features are allowed, but be sure to verify that the file operates properly at the computer center.
iii)The screen resolution is XGA (1024×768); aspect ratio 4:3.
iv)Please make sure your screensaver is turned off and that your computer is not in power saving mode. Please also unlock the password.
v)Please bring your power adapter.
Note: The presentation may be disrupted due to low battery when only using the internal battery.
vi)We recommend bringing backup data.
vii)After the presentation, we will return your computer near the front left of the computer operation desk. Please come to the computer operation desk as soon as possible after your presentation as there is limited venue space.
Presentation Time
Oral presentations: 7 min. presentation, 3 min. discussion
Other presentations, symposia, etc.: duration differs depending on session. Please refer to the notice sent by the conference secretariat.

3. Poster Presentations

a.Poster presentations will be held at the poster exhibition hall (conference center 3F, 301-304). Please visit the poster desk located in front of the venue.
b.Check your poster's abstract number and mount it accordingly.
i)Please mount your poster on the board as shown in the figure to the right.
ii)Aside from the presentation poster, please also prepare a separate 20x70cm (L x W) sheet and indicate the abstract title, author, and author affiliation.
iii)The poster size is to be 160x90cm (L x W).
iv)Use push pins to mount your poster securely. The secretariat will provide the pins.
c.Allotted time is 3 min. for the presentation and 2 min. for discussion. Please finish your presentation within this time.
d.A presenter ribbon is provided with the poster board. Attach the ribbon to your name tag and stand in front of your poster 10 min. before the start of your session.

f.Please make sure to take down your own poster. Any poster left will be discarded by the secretariat.

4. Conflicts of Interest (COI)

All presentations, including sponsored seminars, must disclose the author's COI on the first presentation slide (or the slide following the title slide). For posters, make sure to have a COI disclosure at the bottom of the poster using the prescribed format. Please indicate the author name, category, and company name. For further details regarding COI disclosure, please visit the Japanese Society of Anti-Aging Medicine website at (http://www.anti-aging.gr.jp/about/coi.phtml). A sample PowerPoint slide for COI disclosure is also available for download.

If you have no COI to disclose, please indicate, "I have no COI corporate relationships to disclose related to this presentation."
